Еducational Cooperation with Uzbekistan

On March 11 2022, Center for Development Strategy of Uzbekistan conducted the Uzbek-Russian round table on the prospects for the development of international cooperation in the field of online education.

Konstantin Tarasov, Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs, participated in the round table. His report "On the experience of implementing distance learning programs for students from Uzbekistan" was the key presentation from the Russian part of the meeting. In addition, PetrSU was one of the organizers of this event, alongside with the International Women's Public Foundation "SHARQ AYOLI" ("Woman of the East"), IT-educational company "УНИВЕР-ОНЛАЙН" (“UNIVERSITY-ONLINE”) and the Center for Online Education "Russia-Uzbekistan BOS" ("Best Online Study”).

Avazbek Kholbekov, a representative of the Center for Development Strategy of Uzbekistan, opened the round table. He presented the main positions of the Education Development Strategy of his country for 2022-2026.

During this professional communication, the parties discussed topical issues of educational cooperation, modern educational technologies, features of parallel higher and additional professional education, as well as prospects for the development of online education. Representatives of Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan also took part in the key discussion.

As a result of the round table, an international working group for the development of online education was created, and Konstantin Tarasov became a part of this group.
