From January 31 till February 7 Petrozavodsk State University hosts traditional international winter collegiate programming camp.

Petrozavodsk programming camps are widely popular among professional members of the community. PetrSU is the first site in Russia that has been hosting annual international collegiate programming camps since 1998. Today at the premises of the Flagship University of Karelia teams representing PetrSU and other universities of Russia and the world have the opportunity to get experience of solving problems.

This year, the camp convened 75 teams from 36 universities of 11 countries (Russia, Belorussia, Azerbaijan, China, Egypt, Bangladesh, Georgia and others).

Russia will be represented by the teams of Petrozavodsk State University, Saint Petersburg National Research University of Information Technologies, Mechanics and Optics, University of Science and Technology MISIS, Voronezh State University, Izhevsk State University, Irkutsk State University, and others.

Each team consists of three people. The camp is held both on-site and remotely.

PetrSU camps follow the format of the ICPC World Finals. This guarantees that the participants of the camps will be offered a problem set of the highest quality comparable to problem sets offered at the Finals, gain experience in solving the problems, and then successfully represent their university in the Finals.

The camp program includes five-hour long contests, problem analysis, cultural and sports events. Contests (problems) are of various type and difficulty and were created by the ICPC winners and prize-winners.

The winners of the camp will be determined by the final rating of most problems solved in the given time. If several teams solve the same number of problems, the one that did it faster will be the winner. All solutions to the problems will be analyzed by the authors.
