PetrSU Develops Cooperation with Asian Countries
Representatives of the Institute of Cultural Heritage, Tourism and Hospitality Management of the University of Swat held a meeting with PetrSU on March 10.
The Institute was established 15 years ago in order to preserve the cultural heritage of the Swat region (Pakistan), to maintain the archaeological and ethnic image of the region, to study the genesis of cultural activities, to trace the historical past of the ancient period of Pakistan and to promote eco- and cultural tourism.
PetrSU was presented by Valentina Kirilina, the Director of Institute of Physical Education, Sport and Tourism, Natalia Kolesnikova, the Head of Department of Tourism, Marina Gvozdeva, Head of the Directorate for International Affairs, Galina Parikhina, the Head of Department of International Projects and Programs, and Alexey Rogozin, the Head International Project Division.
During the negotiations, the parties discussed holding a series of information seminars on the teaching of specialized tourism disciplines. They also agreed to conduct a joint research to study the preferences of Russian tourists. Based on the results of the work, the parties plan to publish a series of scientific articles in international journals.
