Development of Cooperation with Chinese Universities
PetrSU representatives met with their colleagues from Xi'an International University (China).
On behalf of PetrSU, the meeting was attended by Marina Gvozdeva, Head of the Directorate for International Affairs, and Alexey Rogozin, the Head International Project Division.
Xi'an International University was represented by Guo Xinhua, Dean of International Cooperation and Director of International Center, Hu Jianhua, Associate Director of International Exchange Center, Associate Dean at College of International Cooperation, and He Xinxing, Russian Program Coordinator, Lecturer of Russian Department.
Xi'an International University is a private higher education institution established in 1992. The university includes 12 facilities with 67 educational programs, such as Management, Economics, Humanitarian Studies, Medicine, Engineering, Agronomy, Agriculture, and Art. The university cooperates with more than 100 educational organizations and teaches Asian and international students.
The research center of the university has been awarded a number of national, provincial and municipal prizes and titles of the Ministry of Education of China, including “National Research Institute of Excellence", the prize that was received 4 times.
Over the past three years, the number of research projects carried out at the provincial level and above and published in international journals is one of the highest among Chinese universities. In terms of the number of received patents, the university ranks 15th in Shaanxi Province.
During the negotiations, the parties reached an agreement on the academic exchange between PetrSU and XAIU, on the organization of joint summer and winter schools on various topics, joint research and scientific articles.
