Cooperation with the Chinese-Russian Research Association of Experts on the Development of Culture and Art
As part of the plan for cooperation between Chinese and Russian universities at the Russian-Chinese International Educational Forum in 2023, PetrSU participated in a seminar dedicated to implementing a new model of Russian-Chinese educational cooperation. Representatives from Shenyang University in Liaoning Province (Fu Jiang, the Vice-Rector for International Affairs and Director of the Institute of International Education, Zhang Lili, the Deputy Director of the Institute of International Education, and Feng Dehua, the Head of the International Cooperation Department, as well as other university staff) attended the seminar. On behalf of PetrSU the event was attended by Konstantin Tarasov, the Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs, Marina Gvozdeva, the Head of the Directorate for International Affairs, and Alexey Rogozin, and the Head of the Department of International Projects and Programs.
During the seminar, participants briefly presented their universities, educational programs, internationalization policies, and expressed interest in developing cooperation in education and science. As a result of the discussion, parties reached agreements on organizing exchanges of lecturers and students, conducting language and culture schools, and additional education programs.
Shenyang University is a leading university in Liaoning Province, China with approximately 30,000 students. The university includes 21 colleges and 10 master's degree programs. Shenyang University pays special attention to the activities of foreign language institutes, world economics, natural sciences, and mechanical engineering as part of the implementation of the "Belt and Road Initiative" strategy.
