PetrSU is the Winner of the All-Russian Competition-Monitoring of Best Practices

PetrSU project "Platform for training students and their interaction with foreign residents in dormitories "Neighbours|Соседи" became the best in the category "Practices of social protection and support for students" of the All-Russian competition-monitoring of the best practices in the implementation of youth policy and educational activities in 2023.

The founder of the competition is the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation.

In 2023, 202 higher education organizations of the Russian Federation took part in the competition: a total of 675 practices were presented, experts rated 50 practices as the best and included them in the database of effective solutions for methodological support of the activities of teams of vice-rectors for youth policy and educational activities.

PetrSU project "Neighbours|Соседи" is a student association of volunteers who help international students adapt to living conditions in a dormitory and thereby easily integrate into active student life.

The main objectives of the association are: training students and their interaction with foreign residents to create comfortable conditions in dormitories; creating an environment for international communication of students; involvement of international students in the social life of dormitories, PetrSU and Petrozavodsk.
