Impressions of the PetrSU Students About the Art Exhibition
The future historians wrote essays about the event and shared their impressions about the exposition.
The students emphasized the atmosphere of coziness, kindness, peace and harmony conveyed in the works of Svetlana Atremenko. The visitors shared their appreciation and gratitude to the Karelian artist:
The painting “Sunshine in the mountains” is the artist’s vision of nature, the feeling of the universal landscape, its spaciousness and the crystal clear air. It depicts the ridges with the high peaks reaching the endless sky. The striking advantage of this painting is that the artist reveals the structure of the mountains, their large crystalline masses, trying to create the images that elevate the soul. (Danil K.);
I have visited the art exhibition. I liked the painting that shows the forest and the houses covered with snow. It is the twilights. The only source of light and warmth is the window of the house. The light from the window gives coziness to the painting. This picture transmits the atmosphere of stability and tranquility. I would hang it in my bedroom for a more comfortable sleep. (Anton G.);
The painting “The Backwater” conveys the mood of happiness, calmness and harmony. It depicts the nature in summer. We see the forest and the river. The river is covered with the water lilies. The green leaves of the trees are illuminated by the sun. (Alexander I.);
I am very inspired by the paintings at the art exhibition. The painting I remember most is “Autumn Mood”. It conveys the beauty and the colorfulness of autumn. The yellow sunflowers look like the sun that shines and warms. They remind me of a warm September day from my childhood when I was at my grandmother’s cottage. The bright red berries look like sea buckhorns. They cause a sour taste in the mouth. (Valeria V.);
