PetrSU Students are Participants of Academic Mobility Program
Although the preliminary went well, it was not easy, the students note. They had to write a resume, a motivation letter, and attend several interviews.
After completing this stage, the students went to study for one semester at Eötvös Loránd University (ELTE), the largest university in Hungary. Currently, Yelizaveta and Anastasia are doing a course in English and American Studies. They attend seminars on the history and modern literature of the USA, as well as psycholinguistics. For the Russian students, this is a good chance to improve their English, learn a lot of new things, get to know new people and the culture of Hungary.
Here are the students' first impressions of their studying in Budapest:
“Studying at a European university, practicing speaking and listening skills in English, communicating with peers from different countries, unusual dishes — this and much more is happening to me right now. This is an incredible experience that I will remember for the rest of my life,' Anastasiya Ursu comments.
Yelizaveta and Anastasia would like to express a special gratitude to Alexey Kupryakhin and Alexey Rogozin for their help in preparing the documents and constant support. The managers of the Directorate for International Affairs of PetrSU contributed greatly to making all formal procedures easy for the applicants.
