Congratulations from the Rector of PetrSU A.V. Voronin on the New Year and Christmas

On behalf of the Rector's Office, I sincerely congratulate you on the upcoming New Year and Christmas!

The approaching 2025 will be a special year for us. It will be marked by the preparation and holding of three anniversaries at once: the 85th anniversary of Petrozavodsk University, the 80th anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War and the 105th anniversary of the Republic of Karelia. I am sure that we will approach these celebratory events with new achievements and bold plans, and everything planned will be implemented, because persistence in achieving goals is a good tradition of our team.

I would like to express words of gratitude for the results achieved through joint efforts.

This year, our university received the status of a candidate participant in the Priority 2030 program, which will allow the university to increase its contribution to achieving Russia's national development goals, improving the quality of life in the North and the Arctic by creating a dynamically developing modern university that is a research and entrepreneurial center.

Our common achievements include the development of educational, scientific, innovative, and cultural activities of the university; received grants, victories in competitions for our faculty and students; implementation of large-scale projects; recognition of our educational programs as the best, holding significant international conferences, attracting new partners, and the emergence of new university infrastructure facilities.

All this became possible thanks to our close-knit team - a wonderful group of professional faculty, staff, and talented students!

Friends! May the coming 2025 year be filled with the preservation of old traditions and the increase of new ones, and may it enter our common home - Petrozavodsk State University - with goodness, be generous with luck and success, and become another important step on the path to new achievements.
