Open Doors at PetrSU

On March 29, a meeting of future applicants and their parents took place at the traditional career guidance event – Open Doors at PetrSU, which was attended by teachers, staff, and students of the university.

More than 300 people became guests of PetrSU. They were presented with an eventful program.

Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs I.M. Suvorova noted, greeting the graduates, their parents and teachers:

“Today is a special day for you, which can determine your future.

The information about educational opportunities, basic rules, deadlines, and features of admission was provided to future applicants and their parents by the Head of the Department for Organizing Student Admissions M.N. Semenova.

Meetings with the directors of the institutes allowed the guests of the university to learn about the conditions of study here, areas of study, employment prospects, etc.

The students themselves told future applicants about the interesting, active extracurricular student life at the student association fair. For example, a second-year student of the Physics and Technology Institute Sergey Ivanov said that studying is very interesting, both theory and practice, and extracurricular life, he really likes everything.

The fair brought together adapters, volunteers, athletes, programmers, young scientists, theater people, media people, and all students participating in the scientific, educational, and extracurricular life of the university in a single space. Student councils, scientific and creative clubs - everyone could find a club that was interesting to them.
