A Scientific Conference Has Begun at PetrSU
More than 400 people from all institutes took part in the opening - students, postgraduates, employees of PetrSU, as well as university veterans and schoolchildren.
This year 138 sections, 1848 reports, 1723 authors, 588 scientific supervisors were presented.
The conference is aimed at attracting PetrSU students to scientific work and improving the quality of their professional training through:
identifying and supporting researchers who show interest and ability in scientific work;
developing general scientific competencies of students;
identifying and supporting scientific research of students and young scientists of PetrSU for their subsequent presentation at scientific events of the All-Russian and international levels;
forming and developing a culture of scientific communication among students and young scientists.
The 2025 conference is dedicated to the 85th anniversary of PetrSU and the 80th anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War.
Two exhibitions were prepared for the opening of the conference in the foyer of the assembly hall - "Petrozavodsk State University: Yesterday and Today", as well as "Karelian Universities of Yuri Andropov".
