Directorate for academic and scientific research
The main activities
- Supervising, methodological assistance and provision of information and analytics resources in training of research and academic staff at PetrSU (doctoral and postgraduate studies, Thesis Boards, Student Research Society), in training of medical doctors and their further training in continuing medical education (internship, clinical residency).
- Supervising, methodological assistance and provision of information and analytics resources in research done at PetrSU in the framework of Russian and joint (Russian and international) research and development programs and foundations.
- Management and performance of standardization and methodological support in research and development and teaching and learning process; provision of official registration for open research and development projects, assessment of research and development reports for compliance with the State All-Union standards.
Duties
The Directorate for Academic and Scientific Research is responsible for planning and managing the achievement of the core objectives of the Directorate, control over the implementation of the decisions of the Academic Council, the Research Council and the Rector’s Administration within the Directorate’s competence; supervising the activities of the Scientific Equipment Common Use Center of PetrSU; management and methodological support of PetrSU Bulletin electronic journal.
