Students of the Institute of Foreign Languages Meet with Japanese Researcher Mitsuru Takahashi

On June 5, an online meeting was held with Japanese researcher, Professor Mitsuru Takahashi, dedicated to the issues of modern education. Students and faculty from the Institute of Foreign Languages at PetrSU, the Faculty of Intercultural Communications at Minsk State Linguistic University, and Samara State Social-Pedagogical University participated in the event.

In his lecture, the scholar touched upon the concept of possibilities by the renowned Indian philosopher Amatya Sen, emphasizing the significance of educational practice for the development of independent thinking, creative abilities, and the achievement of life goals. The presentation left a strong impression on the audience and was followed by an engaging discussion.

Sabina Rudolfovna Nedbaylik, Associate Professor of the Department of Foreign Languages at PetrSU, Ph.D.:
