On November 7-8 2025 a project-analytical session for universities candidate for the Priority 2030 program was held at the Timiryazevka Boiling Point of the Russian State Agrarian University – Moscow Agricultural Academy.

The event was attended by a team from Petrozavodsk State University: O. Yu. Derbeneva, Head of the Strategic Development Department; M. V. Danilova, Head of the Educational and Methodological Department; and I. V. Lyukhanova, Head of the Scientific Research Department.

The Priority 2030 project-analytical sessions are platforms for sharing experiences, strategic planning, and expert evaluation of university projects.

They help universities formulate clear development models, identify priority areas for research and educational activities, and prepare for inclusion in the program and the effective implementation of its objectives.

Olga Yuryevna Derbeneva, Head of the Strategic Development Department, presented the results of work and strategic vision for development as part of participation in the Priority program to experts and commission members of the Russian Ministry of Education and Science. Five thematic project-analytical sessions presented the university's target model for engaging in technological leadership, strategic goals and key achievements for 2025, and strategic technological projects, including their impact on the transformation of the university's educational, scientific, and innovation policies.

By participating in the Priority-2030 program, PetrSU is transforming its model from a regional flagship classical university into a university active in the national and global educational, research, and technological agendas within the framework of strategic priorities for technological leadership in the following areas:

- Domestic component base and hardware systems for solving automation and robotics problems for key economic sectors. The project aims to develop and manufacture domestically produced electronic components and electronic equipment, and to build hardware systems for automation and robotics solutions for industrial partners in the real economy, in conjunction with the technological and production capabilities of industry organizations. It also aims to provide practical training by engaging students in scientific and technical projects on the design of microelectronics and electronics products.

- Software and hardware platforms for the digital transformation of enterprises in target economic and social sectors. The project aims to create an advanced methodology for the design, development, and scaling of software and hardware platforms for digital transformation of industrial enterprises and social organizations in target sectors.

- Biotechnology and innovative technological solutions for the development of northern agriculture and aquaculture. The project aims to create a cutting-edge northern agriculture and aquaculture industry based on the application of advanced biotechnology, selective breeding and genetic research, technical, technological, and digital solutions.

The overall goal of strategic technology projects is to move from individual projects and products to comprehensive products and product lines, platform-based industry solutions focused on high-tech national and international markets.
