His visit included two important events: the official opening of a training class on developing microelectronic solutions using the domestic "Komdiv" platform and a special seminar dedicated to implementing joint projects for the industrial sector using reliable domestic microprocessor systems.
The Research Institute for Systems Research (RISR) of the National Research Center "Kurchatov Institute" is a key industrial partner of PetrSU in developing the university's human resources. RISR plays a leading role in the implementation of two educational programs for training world-class specialists in the 09.03.01 "Informatics and Computer Engineering" program. These programs are aimed at training professionals capable of developing and implementing industrial automation systems based on domestic technological solutions.
Natalia Yuryevna Ershova, Head of the TOP IT Educational Programs Center at PetrSU, shared the results of the TOP IT educational programs and emphasized the importance of the institute in the success of these initiatives. Thanks to its partnership with the RISR, the university is able to integrate the latest scientific and technological advances in microelectronics and cybersecurity into the educational process.
The opening of a specialized classroom based on domestically produced "Komdiv" microprocessors has given students access to unique hardware and software tools, including the latest Russian platforms. This will strengthen the training of competitive specialists prepared to work with advanced domestic technologies.
Thus, the partnership with the RISR of the National Research Center "Kurchatov Institute" has cemented PetrSU's status as a leading Russian center for training highly professional engineering professionals capable of confidently navigating the world of high technology and digital innovation.
