PetrSU International Students Took Part in the Fishing Competition

The competition was held despite the bitter cold: the air temperature in the Belomorsky District reached -25 degrees Celsius.
The competition brought together 60 teams from across the country.
On January 31, the fourth fishing competition took place on Lake Shuezero in the Belomorsky District. It combines winter ice fishing and skiing. Each team consists of two participants: a fisherman and a skier. The fisherman must catch a fish and pass the baton to the skier, whose task is to cover the distance as quickly as possible.
For the first time, international students from PetrSU also participated in the competition. They came from southern countries: Congo, Nepal, Mozambique, Brunei, Iraq, Ethiopia, and Côte d'Ivoire. They managed to assemble a team and test their skills in unusual weather conditions.
