"Heroes Around Us" Is the Theme of the February Meeting of the French Conversation Club
On the eve of Defender of the Fatherland Day, the club members reflected on the professions that, sometimes unnoticed, perform daily feats so essential for the peaceful and secure lives of their fellow citizens. Through various tasks and joint discussions, they were able to review, recall, or learn new vocabulary, and sometimes demonstrate insight or ingenuity. Regardless of the tasks, time flew by, and the club members were eager to continue communicating with each other.
This time, Kristina Pecherina, an 11th-grader from Secondary School No. 27, came to try her hand. She actively participates in many events organized by the Department of German and French Languages at the Institute of Foreign Languages at PetrSU. Here are her impressions after the club:
“Time flew by at the conversation club thanks to the wonderful conversation, which was entirely in French. Thanks to this, everyone can improve their French skills and just have a good time. I really enjoyed the conversation club, as it really helps develop oral communication skills.
The "Let's Speak Only French!" conversation club was created at the initiative of N.S. Barymova, Director of the Francophone Resource Center, and S.A. Lukkonen, a lecturer in the German and French Department.
The next meeting of the club will be held on March 14 at the Youth Innovation Park. We invite everyone with a French level of A2.
