MOROSHKA Student Media
The Moroshka is the weekly news media that covers the outstanding events of the university and the city; it broadcasts programs on medicine, books, sports, movies and many others. The media works with texts, photos, videos, and short films. The Moroshka is the largest student media in the Republic of Karelia. Annually the videos produced by the Moroshka get more than 300 thousand views.
The Federal School of Student Media is open to the students of higher educational institutions, the participants of the projects and contests of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation. The School offers three courses: television, print media and short movie. The teachers are the leading Russian experts in the fields of cinematography, television and printed press, the lectors of Saint-Petersburg State Institute of Film and Television, renowned journalists.
Achievements:
- The Moroshka is the best project on information support of student youth in Russia in 2015.
- The only new-school professional video studio in Karelia.
- Every year the journalists of the media go to the All-Russian forums (Taurida, Terra Scientia, Baltartek).
