The pupils visited the Elias Lonnrot Finno-Ugric School, musical and sports schools of Petrozavodsk, as well as the Scientific Library of Petrozavodsk State University.
The teachers of the Department of Baltic and Finnish Philology told about the history of the university and the department, what subjects are taught at the university, how many students study the Finnish, Karelian and Veps languages. The 3rd year students of the Department of Baltic and Finnish Philology practiced their skills in interpretation.
