Beginning of the Study Year at the Preparatory Faculty
The Preparatory Faculty of PetrSU started a new academic year.
Over 100 students from educational organizations of Petrozavodsk, Kondopoga, Prionezhsky Region, Vologda, and Voronezh Oblasts commenced their studying on the additional educational programs.
On September 30 with the support of the Students Union of PetrSU, the Youth Innopark hosted the organizational meeting with attendants of the courses and their parents.
Student adapters Pavel Liashkov (4 year, Institute of Physics of Technologies) and Anastasiya Zakharova (3 year, Institute of Philology) told about the opportunities offered by the university to its students to facilitate their professional development, modern competencies, research activities. The adapters highlighted the benefits of studying at PetrSU in their region. The students also presented projects implemented by the Students Union and invited prospective students to take an active part in the events held by the Flagship University of the Republic of Karelia.
The employees of the Preparatory Faculty talked about the organization and content of the courses.
“You have a unique opportunity to study at PetrSU and learn what an eventful life we have here,” said the Head of the Preparatory Faculty Elena Titova.
Every year the Faculty trains 180-200 attendants from Russia, as well as around 100 foreign citizens. We expect the arrival of international attendants in October-November.
