The Flagship University Development Program of PetrSU includes the project of soft security, and though it is mostly designed to facilitate the cooperation with partners across the border, the framework of twin relations and cooperation with educational institutions, research centers is advantageous for our collaboration. Thirty years of the twin-city relations mean many years of cooperating in various areas. PetrSU acts in many roles in this, as it implements educational programs enriched with the participation of our colleagues in various seminars, joint projects, internships for students in the twin-cities within the cooperation with NGOs, cultural ties, etc. This is a very substantial program. In the course of 30 years it has evolved and brought a new partner – the University of Tubingen. This is a new start for PetrSU in the field of research and education, development of interdisciplinary cooperation. We are glad that not only the high officials of Tubingen delegation are interested in promoting mutual understanding and cooperation. We hope that by the Days of Germany in Russia next year we will find new promising forms of collaboration.
