International Students of PetrSU in Project “Learning to Live Together”

The project’s objectives are the development of more efficient adaptation programs for foreign citizens in the Republic of Karelia, the establishment of a system of extracurricular activities in cooperation with municipal and regional partners, and the promotion of intercultural dialogue.

The first participants of the project are the 2nd and the 3rd year students of the Institute of Medicine of Petrozavodsk State University from Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, Egypt, Syria, Afghanistan, Eswatini, and Jordan.

The international students took part in a survey that analyses processes of social and cultural adaptation of foreign students in Karelia.
