The international students of PetrSU got familiar with local traditions and customs.
At the International Youth Center, the foreign students of PetrSU were introduced to the traditional Maslenitsa week, folk sayings and the traditions of Maslenitsa. There they learned how to bake true Russian bliny and competed in a quiz.
On Sunday the international students of the Preparatory Faculty joined the outdoor festivities of the Generous Maslenitsa 2020 on Kirov Square. There they watched performances, treated themselves to hot freshly-baked bliny, danced in khorovod, took part in a contest and welcomed spring together.
