Chinese Day in Quarantine
Zhang Jie, a student of the Preparatory Faculty of PetrSU, shares her life in self-isolation.
“I want to be a journalist. Due to the quarantine, I couldn’t come to Russia for the second semester, yet since January I study every day online. I wake at 10 to have breakfast. From 12 till 14 I read and study Russian. At 15 I take rest, watch TV. My dinner starts at 16 o’clock. Then I go for a walk. Street vendors sell Chinese food. In the evening I have a Russian language class. At 10 in the evening, I read and study Russian. Then I do my homework, refer to dictionaries, and listen to music. I go to bed at midnight.”
