Green Building in the Arctic Region
Petrozavodsk State University held an online roundtable meeting.
The round table meeting of the project KO 1089 Green Arctic Building (GrAB) was held online at Petrozavodsk State University.
Members of the international consortium, representatives of partner universities – the University of Oulu (Finland), Murmansk State Technical University, and Petrozavodsk State University – attended the round table meeting.
Finnish project partners were represented by Senior Researcher Antti H. Niemi of the University of Oulu. Murmansk State Technical University was represented by Svetlana Buryachenko, Yana Karachentseva, and Oksana Popova, the employees of the Department of Construction, Heat Power Engineering and Transport as well as Alexander Kaichenov, the head of the Department of Automation and Computer Engineering.
Petrozavodsk State University was represented by Alexander Kuzmenkov, Zakhar Voronin, and Anastasia Ioffe, the employees of the Department of Architecture, Structural Engineering and Geotechnics and the Department of Technology and Management of Forest Industry Complex. Artem Derbenev, Director of a project partner organization Energoeffektivnoe domostroenie LLC [Energy Efficient Conctruction], also joined the meeting. The head of the project at PetrSU Alexander Kuzmenkov moderated the meeting.
The round table discussion has provided the assessment of the ongoing project implementation and defined the further development strategy for 2020-2021.
During the negotiations, the partners discussed the implementation of the experimental facilities in Petrozavodsk and Murmansk as well as the project research activities for the current year and research plans for 2021. The parties have outlined possible ways for further project development after its completion and discussed the possibility of further studies within new international projects.
