Urban Planning and Design of Arctic Cities
An international round table on "Urban planning and Design of Arctic cities" was held online on December 16, 2020.
The International Round Table on "Urban Planning and Design of Arctic Cities" was organized by Murmansk State Technical University, UiT - The Arctic University of Norway (Norway) and the Hokkaido University (Japan).
The round table was conducted as a part of the collaboration among the universities within the UArctic thematic network "Arctic urban planning and design in the Arctic".
On behalf of PetrSU, Alexander Kuzmenkov, Associate Professor of the Department of Technology and Construction Organization of the Institute of Forestry, Mining and Construction Sciences, participated in the round table. During the discussion, Alexander Kuzmenkov shared his opinion with the participants on the prospects of wooden low-rise housing construction in the development of northern areas.
