Swedish Institute Grant
Polina Yakusheva, the 2nd-year Master’s Degree student of the Institute of Philology ("Comparative Studies. A Dialogue of Cultures in the World of Literature") received a grant from the Swedish Institute (Svenska institutet).
This grant is aimed at getting a short-stay visit to Sweden in 2022 (Stipendium för korttidsvistelse i Sverige).
It will let Polita work at the National Library of Sweden to collect some hardly accessible theoretical material for her master's thesis that is dedicated to national characteristics of expressionist literature in Russia and Sweden (based on the works of Leonid Andreev and Pär Lagerkvist).
Similar grants are awarded annually to researchers in the field of the Swedish language and culture.
