Implementation of the Purposes of Sustainable Development in Universities

Online seminar BSRUN "Implementation of the Purposes of Sustainable Development in Universities" was held on April 29.

Online seminar BSRUN "Implementation of the Purposes of Sustainable Development in Universities" was held on April 29. Elena Luzgina, Candidate of Sociological Sciences, Senior Lecturer at the Department of Social Science and Social Work, participated in the seminar.

The seminar discussed the role of the universities in achieving purposes of sustainable development, best cases and opportunities of measuring the results of university activities related to purposes of sustainable development.

General speakers included representatives from the Baltic Sea Region University Network (BSRUN), organization in charge of university management and administration, which convenes 26 universities – members from Belarus, Estonia, Finland, Germany, Latvia, Poland and Russia.

Seminar provided the information which allows adopt the best practices on implementing purposes of sustainable development in universities and utilize them in research and educational activities of students.
