International Seminar "Governance and Innovation in Northern Communities"
A staff member and students of the Institute of History, Social and Political Sciences participated in a three-day Barents Euro-Arctic International Seminar "Governance and Innovation in Northern Communities".
Under the guidance of Oksana Ermolaeva, Associate Professor of the Institute of History, Social and Political Sciences, second-year Master’s students of the Institute of History participated in the international training seminar for students of the Euro-Arctic region.
The participants of the seminar on “Northern Scenarios and Regional Reality: Governance, Innovation, and Development in Northern Communities. 2021-2022” organized by UiT - the Arctic University of Norway (Kirkenes, Norway) included UiT - the Arctic University of Norway, Northern (Arctic) Federal University named after Mikhail Lomonosov, Petrozavodsk State University.
For three days, students listened to lectures provided by leading politicians, businessmen and scientists in Norway on the innovative aspects of the development and management of the Euro-Arctic Barents region, and in the conference finals they presented their own projects.
