Anastasia Amelina, a 2-year master student of “Comparative Studies. A Dialogue of Cultures in the World of Literature” program, took part in the International Youth Forum “Eurasia Global” in Orenburg.

The forum was held under the aegis of UNESCO and brought together 500 participants from 77 countries.

For six days, the participants, divided into teams, attended various lectures of international speakers, ministers, experts in different fields, and joined four main thematic directions: "Sustainable Development: from responsible consumption to social and environmental impact", "The Voice of Youth – Modern Media and Communication Methods”, “Global Youth Entrepreneurship” and “Partnerships in Education and Competence Development. The new role of human potential”. Within each track, the participants discussed and developed their own projects at the international level.

The intensive educational program also included an entertaining part: acquaintance with the culture and peoples of the Orenburg region, a visit to the theater and the opportunity to travel to the very heart of Eurasia - the bridge across the Ural River that separates Europe and Asia.

The “Eurasia Global” Forum gave not only new ideas and impressions, but also a unique experience of intercultural communication, the opportunity to create international youth initiatives and make friends from different places of the world.
