Participation in the “World War II and the partisan movement in the North” Seminar
Oleg Kulagin, the Associate Professor at the Department of Russian History, the Institute of History, Political and Social Sciences, took part in the International scientific and practical seminar "World War II and the partisan movement in the North" within the 11th Russian-Norwegian Cross-Border Cooperation Days and the project of the Museum of Local Lore of the Pechenga Municipality.
On October 22, during the annual celebration of the Liberation of Nikel, the International scientific and practical seminar "World War II and the partisan movement in the North" was held within the 11th Russian-Norwegian Cross-Border Cooperation Days and the project of the Museum of Local Lore of the Pechenga Municipality.
The seminar was dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the beginning of the Great Patriotic War that includes the WWII events going on in the northern parts of Russia and Norway.
The seminar was organized by the Museum of Local Lore of the Pechenga Municipality jointly with the Arctic University of Norway with the support of the Pechenga Municipality.
Oleg Kulagin delivered a lecture on the objective and subjective factors of the partisan movement in the Arctic during the WWII.
