On Finland’s Architecture
Students and teachers of the Department of Baltic and Finnish Philology attended a lecture of Netta Böök, a Finnish architect.
The lecture of the Finnish architect Netta Böök was devoted to the history of wooden industrial architecture in Finland, the export of Finnish wooden houses to the USSR, the transformation of Finnish projects to the needs of Soviet citizens (“Suomalaiset koottavat standarditalot Neuvostoliitossa 1944-1955 – moderneja koteja puusta”).
The event took place within the framework of the Week of Finnish Language and Culture in Karelia.
