"I Met the Traditions of Different Culture"
Yulia Kirilina, a student of the Institute of Philology, shared her thoughts about studies on an exchange program at the University of Tampere (Finland).
I visited Tampere (Finland). I spent an exciting spring semester on an exchange program. The study took place in full-time online mode.
Teachers are always happy to ask questions and quickly respond to emails. Within classes on translation, the tutor dealt with each mistake in detail and with an explanation, which is a huge advantage. I advise the University of Tampere to those who study journalism. They will definitely like the equipment and the radio studio.
Many events were organized in Tampere, especially sports. All games are very funny and unique. For example, many people, including me, played football with a ball in the snow for the first time.
I'm happy to participate in the exchange program. It was a great opportunity to immerse yourself in Finnish culture, visit Finnish cities, meet the traditions of other countries and practice speaking skills.
The university has responsible employees who are happy to deal with the questions that have arisen.
