Russian Ambassador Anna Soboleva teaches Russian to Cuban students
Anna Soboleva, a teacher at the Department of Russian as a Foreign Language and Applied Linguistics, visited Cuba as a part of the expedition of the Russian Language Ambassadors who had come to conduct classes at the University of Havana and schools in the capital city for 4 weeks.
The expedition was organized by the Pushkin State Russian Language Institute and is supported by the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation.
The Russian Language Ambassadors worked at the University of Havana and conducted lessons for students of various faculties and courses.
“Cuban students are very responsive, motivated and diligent. Many people want to study Russian in Russia, everyone speaks excellently and already knows a lot about our country. I really enjoyed working with the first-year students! It’s great that the students have been studying Russian for only a year and have already been able to achieve such results! We are confident that our lessons will be useful for students, and they will be able to learn a lot of new things about the culture of Russia and the Russian language,” − the Russian Language Ambassadors share their impressions.
