"Cultural Bridge: Russia – Kyrgyzstan – Uzbekistan"
As part of the project, Petrozavodsk State University hosted a delegation from Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan: Associate Professor of the Department of World Literature of the Faculty of Russian Philology of Osh State University, Head of the Russian Center at the Osh branch of the Russian State Social University Z.Ya. Miskichekova, as well as the teachers of the Namangan State Institute of Foreign Languages named after Iskhokhon Ibrat: Senior Lecturer of the Department of Russian and Uzbek Languages A.M. Mirzanazarova, Teacher of the Department of Russian and Uzbek Languages D.Kh. Kholmurodova.
In February of this year, employees of the Department of Russian as a Foreign Language and Applied Linguistics – Head of the department A.A. Kotov and Associate Professor O.V. Semenova held open lectures, methodological seminars and round tables in educational institutions in Osh, previously A.A. Kotov conducted open online lectures for students of Osh State University and Namangan State Institute of Foreign Languages named after Ishokhon Ibrat. The colleagues from Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan paid a return visit. A meeting was held at the Institute of Philology, in which the Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs K.G. Tarasov, Director of the Institute of Philology O.G. Abramova, Head of the Directorate for International Affairs M.S. Gvozdeva, Head of the Department of Russian as a Foreign Language and Applied Linguistics A.A. Kotov and Associate Professor of the department O.V. Semenova took part from PetrSU.
During the conversation, issues of interaction and cooperation between universities in several areas were discussed: implementation of joint educational programs, academic exchange and academic mobility, joint scientific research, etc.

- the meeting participants think.
The project is being implemented on the initiative of the Interregional public organization "Credo Poetry Theater", the Karelian regional public organization "Cultural Code of Karelia" with the support of the Russkiy Mir Foundation, the Presidential Grants Fund. The partners of this significant public diplomacy project for the development of creative cooperation between cultural institutions, education and art of the cities of Russia, Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan are represented by the Administration of the Petrozavodsk City District, the Ministry of National and Regional Policy of the Republic of Karelia, the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Karelia, Petrozavodsk State University. The project manager is PetrSU graduate Inga Gaevskaya.
