PetrSU Presentation for Chinese Schoolchildren
Petrozavodsk University was one of 8 Russian universities that took part in the meeting.
PetrSU presented a new program of the Institute of Philology in the field of training 45.03.02 "Linguistics" ("Russian as a foreign language (for foreign citizens"). The program provides basic linguistic training in two languages - Russian as a foreign language and English. Upon completion of the Bachelor's Degree program, the graduate gets the opportunity to teach Russian as a foreign language on a professional basis from zero level, including using an intermediary language.
The conference was attended by the Director of the Institute of Philology O.G. Abramova and employees of the Directorate for International Affairs A.A. Rogozin, E.S. Ivanova, A.V. Khannanova and D.I. Zavalina. Zhao Yitian, a first-year student at the Institute of Education and Psychology of PetrSU, made a presentation in Chinese.
Zhao Yitian answered questions from future applicants. Chinese schoolchildren were interested in the possibility of working while studying, the availability of places and the cost of living in a dormitory. PetrSU thanks Zhao Yitian for participating in the conference and the successful presentation of our university.
