Intercultural Dialogue Is the Basis for Mutual Understanding and Enrichment
The meeting was organized and conducted by teachers of the Department of Foreign Languages and Russian as a Foreign Language for Medical Specialties of the Zilber Medical Institute, O. M. Sherekhova and N. D. Zhilina. Second-year students from India shared their traditions and culture with first-year students from Russia, telling them about the rich heritage of their country. Most of the meeting was devoted to information about the main religion of India - Hinduism and related concepts.
The Indian students prepared an interesting presentation in Russian. This not only demonstrated their diligence in learning the language, but also created an excellent atmosphere for intercultural dialogue.
The Russian students asked many questions, showing interest in the culture, customs, holidays, and medical practices of India. The discussion was lively and exciting, all participants received a lot of positive emotions.
“Such meetings help us to understand each other better and strengthen friendly ties between students from different countries. We hope for further cooperation and new interesting events, - the students noted.
