The classes aroused great interest and vivid emotions among both lecturers and students. The guests noted the enthusiasm and curiosity of the students of Petrozavodsk University, their openness and readiness for dialogue.

“It is wonderful when students listen to you with glowing eyes, ask a lot of questions, when you see that the material you tell them finds a lively response in them and generates professional curiosity. And the applause at the end of the lecture is somewhat unexpected and therefore doubly pleasant!

– L. S. Gafarova shared her impressions.

“The guys listened with great interest, asked a lot of questions, readily responded to a small master class and tried to read a few lines in the Kyrgyz language. And one of the third-year teachers, it turned out, can read this language quite confidently. Communication with students left the most positive and kind emotions!

– expressed the general opinion of the guests L. E. Khasanova.

The students of the Institute of Philology also received a lot of positive emotions.

First-year student Ekaterina Sergeeva:

“Teachers from Uzbekistan came to our university and told us about the history of the Uzbek language and Uzbek proverbs. There was also an interesting experience of analyzing the translation of the text of A.S. Pushkin "Boris Godunov" into Uzbek. The teacher explained the intricacies of translation and told about common mistakes. I really liked the lectures, as I learned a lot of new and interesting things. I really want there to be as many events like this as possible! Many thanks to everyone who organized this meeting!

Second-year student Daria Ershova:

“Everything was great! The teachers from Uzbekistan are erudite and pleasant people to communicate with students, and they talk so passionately about their culture and their language! I would never have thought that I would want to go to Uzbekistan, but after this meeting I would really like to do an on-site teaching practice at the Namangan Institute of Foreign Languages!

Third-year student Valeria Melnikova:

“My groupmates and I had an amazing opportunity to meet teachers and students from Osh State University, guests from Kyrgyzstan. I was amazed by the interest of Kyrgyz scholars in Russian literature, the legacy of A.S. Pushkin, and especially the large number of holidays and events dedicated to reading the works of Russian writers and poets. Our peer, Osh State University philology student Gulnura Asanova, read poems by A.S. Pushkin and an excerpt from the novel "Eugene Onegin" in Kyrgyz. We ourselves also tried to read a few lines! After the speech of the wonderful guide Lada Khasanova, we all wanted to go on a trip to Kyrgyzstan! I would like to express my deep gratitude to the organizers and guests!

Third-year student Arina Putrya:

“We were lucky to listen to the poems of A.S. Pushkin in Kyrgyz. The language is incredibly beautiful to the ear. The works were read by a Kyrgyz girl who was wearing clothes with elements of a national costume, which looked very organic. I managed to read the poems in Kyrgyz on my own, and this is undoubtedly a unique experience. I immediately wanted to learn a few phrases. We were pleasantly surprised by the gifts from the guests!

After the lectures, a meeting was held with the administration of the Institute of Philology, during which issues of cooperation between universities on various educational programs, the possibility of academic exchange, the creation of a joint educational portal and the placement of educational literature on the Russian language on it were discussed.

The program of the visit concluded with an international scientific and practical seminar "Problems of studying and teaching Russian language, literature and culture in a multicultural and multilingual environment". During the discussion, current and extremely important, in the opinion of all participants, problems of exchanging pedagogical experience, scientific and methodological cooperation, issues of network interaction of universities, contacts between student associations, the demand for Russian teachers in Uzbekistan and Kyrgyzstan and the interest of young people in studying the Russian language were raised. The seminar was attended by the Head of the Directorate for International Affairs of PetrSU M.S. Gvozdeva, First Secretary of the Representative Office of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Russia in Petrozavodsk D.A. Martsenyuk, teachers and students of the Institute of Philology and the Institute of Physical Culture, Sports and Tourism of PetrSU,
