Job Placement of Medical Graduates

The event was attended by 36 medical institutions from the Republic of Karelia, the Vologda Region, and the Murmansk Region.

Almost 70 people were trained in a targeted direction. They will go to Murmansk, Olenegorsk, Monchegorsk, Vologda, Kostomuksha, Suoyarvi, Pitkyaranta, Medgora, Pryazha, Louhi, Olonets, and will work in Petrozavodsk.

Several students decided to conclude targeted contracts with the Republican Hospital named after V.A. Baranov for admission to residency in the following areas: radiology, anesthesiology and resuscitation, therapy, ophthalmology, gastroenterology, cardiovascular surgery.

“This event for us is an opportunity to meet future residents, students who are ready to conclude targeted contracts for training.

During the meeting, future doctors told about themselves and had the opportunity to get to know our hospital better, learn details about completing their residency.

We are always glad to see new faces, especially those who are so motivated and passionate about their profession! We hope that very soon we will meet them within the walls of our hospital,

Darina Varlamova, 6th-year student of the Zilber Medical Institute:

“I am a targeted student from the Children's Republican Hospital named after I.N. Grigoviča, I plan to continue studying under a targeted contract in residency, to work at the Children's Republican Hospital. My mother is a doctor, a pediatric endocrinologist, I decided to continue the medical dynasty. My mother is pleased that I followed in her footsteps, that I want to become a doctor, like her. She is happy with all my achievements. For me, being a doctor means providing competent assistance.

Medicine is constant learning. Self-development, self-education, advanced training. Obtaining new knowledge, skills that will help me in providing assistance to everyone: myself, my loved ones, and those around me. I am very interested in this field of activity. Pediatrics is my area, I like it, I love children, it is interesting to work with them.

Ulyana Nikolaevna Klenikova came to study from Murmansk to PetrSU:

“Now it is very important to get a diploma, and in the future I want to enter residency and work as a dermatovenerologist. There are very few such specialists.

Svetlana Aleksandrovna Torvinen came from Kostomuksha to study under the "Zemsky Doctor" program.

“I learned about the "Zemsky Doctor" program back in the 11th grade. I was interested. A doctor gets 2 million, housing. I want to go back home to Kostomuksha, where my family and friends are. I want to work as a psychiatrist-narcologist. A very popular specialty.

Anastasia and Mikhail Fedotov got married in their 5th year. The couple said that it is easy to combine study and family life:

“No one understands the specifics of studying and working in the medical field as well as the doctor himself.

Anastasia is currently studying in the specialty "Pediatrics", and her husband Mikhail is finishing "General Medicine" and is going to become a general practitioner. The guys are planning to enter residency in their specialties, and after completing it, retrain as more specialized doctors.

Alfarah Karam Khaled Sameh, a student from Jordan:

“I want to stay in Russia. I came here 7 years ago and I really like living here. I got married in my 4th year. Being a doctor was my childhood dream. I really like the people here. I want to continue my residency at RUDN to become a neurosurgeon.

Najar Mohamad N H, a student from Palestine:

“I studied Russian in Arkhangelsk for a year, then studied for six years at the Zilber Medical Institute. Here in Russia, people are nice, they treat me kindly. I'm used to it. I will continue my residency at RUDN, I want to study neurology.

Nadezhda Ilnurovna Dreizis, Chief Physician of the state budgetary healthcare institution of the Republic of Karelia "City Children's Polyclinic No. 1":

“I wish every graduate success in the upcoming certification! Ahead is the beginning of a medical career and the acquisition of new medical specialties - an important and most interesting stage in the life of a doctor. I believe that you will succeed!
