Arina Tipunova:
“This grant provides a unique opportunity to study in China for a semester, at Bohai University (渤海大学). The grant covers not only tuition, accommodation and health insurance, but also a monthly stipend. Studying in China is a chance to deeply immerse myself in the language environment, improve my Chinese, get to know Chinese culture better and gain experience of studying at a Chinese university. Without a doubt, such experience is an important step in my development as a teacher and a serious advantage for the future. I am very happy with this opportunity and even proud that my efforts have been appreciated at the international level, since the competition for receiving such an educational grant was very high and a strict selection was carried out among many applicants from different countries according to several criteria, including not only the level of Chinese language proficiency, but also current academic performance, the degree of familiarity with Chinese culture. I am looking forward to starting my studies at Bohai University and new discoveries!
Let us remind you that Arina recently completed short-term summer courses in Chinese at Northeast University of Economics (东北财经大学) in Dalian, China.
Since the beginning of September, about 10 students of the Institute of Philology of the training program "Russian as a Foreign Language, Chinese Language" within the framework of the inter-university academic mobility program have been leaving for several large Chinese universities for a semester in order to improve their Chinese language and get acquainted with the culture of the country of the language being studied.
