  PetrSU Search Party in Finland

  The sixth expedition of PetrSU search party to Ilomantsi municipality, Finland, took place on June 26 – July 2. In the six years, PetrSU search party has found and excavated remains of 60 soldiers of the Workers’ and Peasants’ Red Army who had perished in Ilomantsi municipality in 1939 and 1944.

  Graduates of the Institute of Foreign Languages Received Bachelor Degree Diplomas

  The Institute of Foreign Languages of PetrSU held a ceremony of awarding diplomas to Bachelor Degree students. Students of the programs “English and German Languages”, “English and French Languages”, “German and English Languages” received 50 diplomas, 11 of them with honors.

  PetrSU Students Won at the “My University” Video Contest in Foreign Languages

  The 2nd year students of the Institute of History, Political and Social Sciences studying on the program “International Relations” won the prizes of the 2nd interuniversity contest of student video projects in foreign languages “My University” among students, Master Degree students, postgraduates of all programs and levels of proficiency in a foreign language.

  Nordic and Baltic Studies Review Included in ERIH PLUS

  On June 26, 2019, the scientific electronic journal of PetrSU Nordic and Baltic Studies Review (chief editor the Candidate of Historical Sciences, Associate Professor Irina Takala) was included into the European Reference Index for Humanities (ERIH PLUS): The processing of the journal “Nordic and Baltic Studies Review” has been finalized.
