  The Arctic Center is Developing Cooperation with Qingdao Companies

  Full-scale development of the Arctic region, and above all, the profitable extraction of its minerals, is an unprecedentedly complex task, not only for Arctic states. From October 24–27, leading Russian experts on Arctic zone development held lectures and meetings in Qingdao (Shandong Province, eastern China) with representatives from Qingdao universities, companies, and technology centers.

  PetrSU Entered the Times Higher Education 2026 World University Rankings for the First Time

  The results of the annual Times Higher Education World University Rankings 2026 have been published. THE 2026 included 2,191 leading universities (2,092 last year) from 115 countries. Russia was represented by 80 universities (81 in the previous edition). Petrozavodsk State University entered THE for the first time and ranks 1,501st overall, or 23rd–80th among Russian universities.
